Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP attorneys Andrew P. Devine, Tristan D. Hujer and Alson James McKenna have been elected to become partners in the firm as of January 1, 2021. Mr. Devine and Mr. Hujer are based in the firm’s Buffalo office, and Mr. McKenna is based in the firm’s Rochester office.

Mr. Devine, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses on environmental, mass tort, business, contract, construction, banking, insurance and real estate litigation, as well as FINRA and other securities matters. He also regularly advises clients on electronic discovery issues, including organizing and managing complex and high-volume document reviews.
Mr. Hujer focuses his practice on class actions, business and commercial litigation, and business dissolutions. He has represented companies in the financial, energy, health care, technology and legal-cannabis industries. He has successfully and efficiently resolved numerous legal matters and has tried cases to verdict. He is active in the Western New York community and serves on the board of directors for Compeer International, a not-for-profit organization that promotes positive mental health
Mr. McKenna is a member of the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group, where he focuses on representing financial institutions in a wide range of secured transactions. He regularly represents lenders with commercial mortgage loans, construction loans, asset-backed financing and small business capitalization.
