New York, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, will join subject matter experts from USI Insurance Services and Avalon Cyber for an informative webinar focused on cybersecurity best practices and navigating the uncertain moments following a cyberattack. This online event – titled “Breaches Happen: What to do if You Experience a Cyberattack” – will take place October 28, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Cyberattacks have become increasingly common, especially after the shift to remote and hybrid work environments over the last year and a half. Legal, security and insurance specialists will come together during this webinar to discuss the appropriate steps to take when confronted with phishing, ransomware or other types of attacks. They will dive into best practices to manage data breaches before, during and after they happen. They will also talk about what is necessary to share with their customers after a breach, what businesses’ insurance policies should include and how to proceed in the days and weeks following cyber incidents.
