Phillips Lytle Partner Anna Mercado Clark to Participate in ACEDS Webinar on OpenText Axcelerate Investigation Tool

New York, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark will be participating in a webinar hosted by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) on Wednesday, August 25 at 1 p.m. This webinar will focus on OpenText™ Axcelerate™ Investigation, an integrated platform for early cases assessment (ECA) and investigations.

Using standalone, disconnected tools for collection, processing and analysis can lead to slow, tedious and inefficient ECA and investigations. Many E-Discovery specialists have turned to OpenText’s Axcelerate tool to streamline the process and conduct more thorough and efficient assessments and investigations.

Ms. Clark will join Brett Burney, Principal of Burney Consultants, Adam Kuhn, Principal Solutions Consultant at OpenText, and Wendy Cole, Director of Product Marketing at OpenText, for a live review and demonstration of Axcelerate Investigation. Attendees will see how this program, with front-ended analytics and machine learning, can speed up access to pertinent information when it comes to any investigation or pre-litigation assessment.

As leader of Phillips Lytle’s Data Security & Privacy and E-Discovery & Digital Forensics Practice Teams, Ms. Clark focuses on complex e-discovery and digital forensics, cybersecurity and data privacy, and complex commercial litigation. As a former Assistant District Attorney, she also handles white collar criminal matters and investigations. Additionally, Ms. Clark has been awarded the following ANSI-accredited credentials by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP): Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S. Private Sector (CIPP/US).

Ms. Clark has successfully leveraged the latest technology, including artificial intelligence and technology assisted review (“TAR”), to streamline high-volume discovery, establish defensible document review workflows and minimize litigation costs. She is a member of EDRM at Duke Law, a community of e-Discovery and legal professionals who create practical resources to improve e-Discovery and information governance, including cross-border discovery in light of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
