NEW YORK, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark has earned recognition in the Crain’s New York Business Notable Women in Law publication, issued on December 20.

Ms. Clark is the leader of the Data Security & Data Privacy and E-Discovery & Digital Forensics Practice Teams at Phillips Lytle and a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Ms. Clark focuses on complex e-discovery and digital forensics, cybersecurity and data privacy, and complex commercial litigation. As a former Assistant District Attorney, she also handles white collar criminal matters and investigations.
Additionally, Ms. Clark has been awarded the following ANSI-accredited credentials by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP): Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E); Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S. Private Sector (CIPP/US); and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). Ms. Clark is also among a select group of individuals around the world to receive the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation.
Ms. Clark graduated from the Fordham University School of Law (J.D., 2005) and Rutgers University (B.A., 2002). She is active in numerous professional associations including the American Bar Association where she is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. She is a member of the Litigation Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York, a founding member of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s Regional Governor for the Northeast Region and an at-large trustee of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association. Ms. Clark also serves in the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Law and Business Law Sections.
